What's in the Box?
- A large sachet of our fuss-free ice cream base mix
- A fine artisan Flavour Paste (sometimes a sachet instead of a paste).
- Our Special Recipe Power Boost (not required for some kits).
- A packet of The Best Bits.
- A flavoursome topping sauce
- Some delicious topping pieces
- Two standard-sized 500ml ice cream tubs for the freezer
- Six paper cups and six wooden ice cream sticks
Twin Packs will have double the contents.
What Else do you Need?
Either:
- 250ml Cold Milk (either Whole or Semi-Skimmed, but it must be cold!)
Or (if you're being really cheeky)
- 200ml Cold Milk
- 50ml Double Cream or Whipping Cream
And you'll need an electric whisk and a bowl, or a food mixer with a whisk attachment, plus a hand whisk and a spatula.
Instructions
- Pour the milk (or milk and cream if you’re being extra cheeky!), which must be cold from the fridge, into a large mixing bowl.
- Pour in the contents of our indulgent, fuss-free ice cream base mix sachet and stir in with the hand whisk, until there are no lumps visible.
- Using an electric whisk or bowl mixer, whisk at slow speed for one minute, and then at full speed for four minutes. The mixture should now resemble whipped cream.
- Squeeze in the full tube of Flavour Paste. (for some kits this will be a sachet instead of a paste.)
- If your kit includes a tube of Power Boost, stir in the full tube now.
- Using the hand whisk, stir until you have an even colour, taking care not to over-mix.
- Pour in all of The Best Bits and gently mix in using the hand whisk.
- If your kit includes a sachet of ripple, squeeze this on top now and stir lightly for a ripple effect.
- Using a spatula, scrape out all of the mixture into your ice cream tub(s).
- Cover with a lid and pop into the freezer overnight (at least 6 hours, though times will vary with different freezers).
- Top with our extra special Toppings and Sauce (Our chocolate sauces contain real chocolate. Remove the cap and warm in the microwave for around 20 seconds before using.)
